I was wandering if you had any tips/tricks for binding small fanfics (under 50K words)? Is it possible and is it more difficult to do a smaller work than a regular length novel? Thanks a bunch!
Using your average A4 or letter-sized sheet of paper you can bind fics as short as 25k using the methods laid out in ASH’s “How To Bind A Book” doc.
If you want to experiment with tiny books, that can usually stretch you down to 20k; maybe 15k depending on how you typeset/what size “tiny” means to you. If you choose to go this route, be advised that you’ll have to use 3rd party imposition software such as Montax or Bookbinder , and you’ll likely have to cut all your paper by hand. It’s doable, there’s just more steps. (The books are so adorable and fit so nicely in your hand that it’s all worth it, though.)
The final option is single signature binding. DAS Bookbinding has vids on single section Bradel binding and German stiffened paper binding, which are both good methods for very short books—down to maybe 5k depending on how you typeset.
Smaller than that and your best bet is to combine several fics in an anthology.

@clarasghosts am happy to spread the good word about minis! I've glomped my imposition code onto @momijizukamori's Bookbinder JS page. It's free & web based & hopefully easy to use. You just take a normal PDF and feed it in-- this book was the "mini" layout (under the "Wacky Small Layouts" section)
@emptyyourselfintothesky No, but they do sell them! I've an adorable miniature press from Tony Firman ($). While he does sell a plough ($) for it, I've opted for chisel trimming, which I talk about more in this post.
@goodnightmoonvale I've ordered it off Amazon [link]- it's not "official" bible paper, just 45 gsm sheets. Currently $13, paper size A4, 80 pages. Be warned, printing on it is a very finicky process. Have about 1 in 3 pages workout. (and even then, I tolerate some cruft)
@this-is-surely-tru It varies Definitely depends on the software folks use and how ornate they want to be- some folks sink a LOT of time into it. I use LaTeX which is all text (like code) and allows me to re-use large chunks from previous projects. I also have written python scripts that let me pull fic from AO3 super fast. A "normal" mini fic from AO3 can take me min to setup? (Import content, sanity check line breaks, generate QR code, etc) The Art of War though was a fresh layout and attempt at "design"-- time spent at computer was probably? 3 hours? Over several days, plus pondering layout when offline. I don't track it too closely. The hard part is just knowing what it should look like. Executing on a vision is not that bad.
And yes ;) I "tolerate" the step-- the joy for me is the manual process. The mind can wander when folding, sewing, trimming but typesetting is a mental sink hole for me where I must be Focused. But totally worth it! And every project remains on hand (in a private GitHub repo) for me to pull from next time. Am slowly working up the will to typeset Winnie-the-Poo Chapter 1 as a small book will keep an eye on how long that takes ;) (easy enough to do if I remember to check the files into git at regular work intervals)
@promithiae Doooooooooo iiiiiiiiiit! There's lots of resources to be found over at @renegadepublishing and a rabid collection of folks on Discord who'd love to help you through the process.
(also wanted to note/celebrate that my follower count has finally caught up with my post count. That's kinda' like a milestone, yeah? Given I started posting here Dec )

in love with your dta book binding and i find i am increasingly more invested in wanted to physically hold a copy of dta so i was wonder if you had any advice or resources (programs/materials/web sites) for beginners or like point me in the right direction if you don’t mind?
Okay so keep in mind I'm very much an amateur at both typography and bookbinding
Alright, typesetting. What I initially did was just open some of the books on my shelves to see how those were designed and just use that as inspiration. That absolutely worked, although there are some details I would now do differently. Last fall/winter I fell into a bit of a rabbit hole and read every typography book that I could find at my library. The ones i would actually really recommend are the following:
“The Elements of Typographic Style” by Robert Bringhurst. This one is a really nice intro to all kinds of typesetting details. It’s also pretty easy to find PDFs of this book on Google :-)
Jan Tschichold’s essays on typesetting and book design, if you can get your hands on them. I think they were translated and published as “The Form of the Book.” Tschichold explains the typographical choices that have worked well for centuries and how to do modern (20th century) versions of those. He’s very much not into having fun and experimenting though. I nevertheless found it really interesting and useful to read what he wrote and to then decide whether to heed that advice or to deliberately ignore it (since I’m here to have fun with typesetting).
If you speak German: “Lesetypografie” by Friedrich Forssman and Hans Peter Willberg. Its thesis is basically: book design has to be for the reader, and it's really good at explaining what that actually means with tons of examples.
For a free online resource, you could also check out hma-advogados.pt, especially the sections on page layout and text formatting.
Moving on: typesetting software. I use LaTeX because I was already used to using it for typesetting academic texts, and because it allows me to be a little control freak about all kinds of details >:) and because it allows me to programmatically import the text and change its design. If you’re already used to working with LaTeX or if you enjoy programming, I definitely recommend it, but otherwise I have to warn you that the learning curve is very steep. This document contains links to how-to guides for various other kinds of software though, maybe those might be useful to you?
For re-ordering the pages of your PDF so they’re in the order you need for folding signatures when handbinding a book, you’ll need an imposition tool. I use LaTeX, but I know lots of people swear on this online tool.
Designing a cover (if you want to use a print-on-demand service or if you want to add a dust jacket to a handbound book): I use Affinity Photo, mostly because that’s the image editing software I already had anyway, but I'd also generally recommend it; it can do lots and is sold at a very fair price imo. My general tip is not to place any elaborate design details near where the spine and the front/back cover meet (and the front/back cover and the cover flaps)—if you use a print-on-demand service, they might end up printing the cover just a smidgen too far to the left/right and it'll look weird if part of your spine design is now on the front cover, and if you design a dust jacket, you might underestimate the small amount of extra material you might need to fit the dust jacket around the spine or around the fore-edge of the cover. Before exporting the print-ready PDF, merge all layers—this will considerably reduce the size of the PDF.
Printing books via print-on-demand services: I've used hma-advogados.pt, which prints books that are of a fine enough (but not perfect) quality. If you want to design a cover + interior to print via their service, definitely make sure to read their formatting guide where they explain what kinds of trims/bleed edges/etc. you should take into account. To find out what dimensions your book cover is gonna need to have (specifically how wide the spine is gonna be), use their pricing tool and enter the page count, select the binding type etc. My tip here is to only start designing the cover once the interior is done and you know how long the book will be—otherwise, you’re gonna spend a fair amount of time adjusting your cover layout to work with a new spine width :)))
Printing dust jackets: go to your local copy shop and check what kind of glossy, slightly-thicker-than-copy-paper paper they have available and ask if you can use their paper guillotine to trim the printed cover to the size you need.
Handbinding a book: I read the “printing” and “physical assembly” sections of this document, and I also watched a lot of Darryn Schneider's videos on Youtube—he’s a professional bookbinder who makes a lot of incredibly useful videos on various bookbinding techniques. Really great if you’re a visual learner! To get started, I’d watch his video on tools for beginners, his series on making a case bound book, and his video on the square back case binding. I really like the latter technique—it’s great if you’re making thinner books where the width difference between the spine and the rest of your textblock isn’t too, too pronounced, and if you're a bit scared of actually backing and rounding spines / don’t have the appropriate tools. I also found it very helpful to ask questions in this fanbinding discord!
In terms of tools, I have:
A good-quality cutting mat + cutter (Olfa, definitely worth the small investment so far), and a metal ruler
A bone folder (great for, well, folding stuff, but also for smoothing out creases as you glue cloth or paper to the bookboard)
An awl (and a couple of pieces of (mostly) corrugated cardboard stacked on top of each other to protect my desk when I punch holes into the signatures)
Two bristle brushes, a large one (about an inch across) and a small one (less than 1 cm across)
Sewing needles—I’d recommend using one that’s relatively blunt and large but a bit thinner than the awl for sewing the signatures, and a thinner and pointy one if you want to make headbands
I don't have a press, I just use a stack of heavy books
and as for the materials:
Off-white 80 GSM paper, but I’ve also used whatever off-white copy paper the library printers happened to stock. Real bookbinders use paper with the grain running parallel to the spine—I don’t since it’s way more expensive, at least where I live.
Bookbinding glue (see also here and here)
Cotton gauze
For these books, I used some random leftover woven cotton tapes, but afaik if the book is fairly thin you don’t need tapes and can just sew the signatures together with the French link stitch instead. (That's what I’ve been doing at least)
2 mm thick bookboard (solid cardboard, preferably acid-free)
Bookcloth. It’s special in that it’s made from non-stretchy fabric and backed with paper, so you can glue it to the bookboard without any glue spots staining the cloth. I’ve been buying bookcloth from bookbinding/stationery suppliers, but you can also find online guides to making your own bookcloth (no recommendations as I haven’t tried that yet)
Some pretty paper for the cover and/or the endpapers (optional, you can also cover the entire cover in bookcloth and use plain endpapers). Since this involves applying a bunch of glue to the paper, it’s a bit easier to work with if the paper’s a tad heavier than copy paper (around GSM maybe?), although that isn’t a requirement
Linen thread. I got some from a bookbinding supplier and picked the 18/3 one, which is nice, but if I had to choose again I might consider getting something ever so slightly thinner. Also full disclosure I don't know how or if this thread is different from regular linen thread. Lots of people apply a thin coat of beeswax to their thread, but I haven’t done that so far, and haven’t had any problems with that (will report back if that changes)
Optional: a thin leather cord (or shoelaces) and some thin thread you happen to have lying around for making headbands
Also optional: some pretty ribbon to use as a bookmark, like those thin fabric ribbons you can buy for gift-wrapping
I think that's it? For the most part it’s about approaching this with a can-do attitude and not being too afraid of just trying things out
This is a bit all over the place, but if you have more specific questions, feel free to send me another ask! :)
#also regarding wanting to have a physical copy of dta: if it's really just about wanting to hold a book in your hands but you're not too int#interested in the design/assembly: feel free to pm me and i can share print-ready pdfs with you#but if you are interested in typesetting/crafting: absolutely do it i promise it's lots of fun!!!!#bookbinding#replies#deangloriam#mission update

Aizawa likes to have you owe him.
You're too young for him, he implies more than says.
At 24, you're really too young for him to consider your relationship as anything romantic, and you infer as such. Aizawa-san is a dear friend, you think, and bury your feelings in favour of being allowed to be in his proximity. It's kind of him, you think, to make time for you when he's so busy with his work, and his every visit seems like a kindness when he attributes it to "checking up" on you.
As if you're one of his responsibilities.
It makes you melt and he knows it. He tells you that if you wait for fifteen minutes after finishing your night shift, he'll walk you back home - and you're grateful that a hero is taking time out of his day to ensure his safety, unaware that the waiting time is just a little ruse to make you feel the weight of the favour as he arrives at your work in his own sweet time.
He's far too busy for this, he sighs and tells you, but when you're so concerned about data mining and privacy, he lets you know that he can pull some favours and have actual encrypted messaging software installed on your phone, along with a privacy toolkit that top heroes use.
You're eternally grateful as you hand your phone over to him, and he says he'll try to return it in a few days, as his schedule permits.
He spends his entire night going through your phone, making note of your porn preferences and jerking off to your nudes.
He's exasperated at your fear when villain attacks in your area increase, as if the heroes on duty were somehow neglecting their patrols. He's downright irritable when your apartment is broken into when you're at work, and when he offers to let you stay at his place for a few days while you allay your fears. It's an imposition, but he supposes he'll do it as a favour to you.
Aizawa-san is trustable, and kind in spite of his crankiness, so you gratefully accept, promising you won't get in his way too much.
You're not his partner, but you're living with him, apologizing when he barges into the bathroom while you're bathing, not even noticing how his eyes rove over your naked form while he accepts your apology for hogging the bathroom before he needs to shower for work.
You're too young to date him, but surely you can help your friend out when he's done so much for you?
He presses himself against you while you're in the kitchen that evening, muttering about how seeing you naked in the morning ruined his whole day.
He talks you into an apology blowjob as if you're in a cliche porno, rutting into your mouth as you repay one of the many debts he has you in. After all, if you weren't imposing in his house, he'd probably have someone over to fuck- just another favour to you, just another thing he's giving up.
You're too confused and groggy in the head from his mixed signals and hot-and-cold behaviour, to the point where he convinces you that it's only fair you let him use your holes from time to time, just to alleviate the tension. He'll bend you over anytime, rutting quickly into you to chase his high before he pulls out and leaves for somewhere, paying you no mind. He's a busy man, often indulging in quick fifteen minute fucks before he has to go on patrol. His work is stressful, and he'll often reach out to grope your chest like a stress ball while he works on grading papers and the like.
After all he's done for you, how can you deny him?

I just found your site, and am curious what software you use to print off the books you bind! I'm thinking of doing some bindings of off-copyright books, but don't know where to start with the whole print-for-proper-binding thing. Thanks for any info you can throw my way!
Sure!!! So, there are a number of options at varying price points, several of which have notable strengths or weaknesses, depending on where your focus lies. I'm working almost exclusively off microsoft word, because I'm very used to office products, and especially since I wanted to bind massively long cnovels from the time I took up the hobby, I prioritized the program that was good at using brute strength to wrangle huge chunks of text. And it's a word processor but has a built-in 'booklet' function, so that was ideal for my needs. My license just charged me for my second year of subscription, actually, haha
So that's a paid option, though i get enough use out of it to be very happy with the investment! However, libreoffice does almost the same thing, and for completely free. The program does have a few quirks that were throwing off my muscle memory, so I crumpled like a damp paper towel and paid for office (things like if you have a blank page and print to pdf, the program maybe doesn't include the blank page period? You need to have a white character hiding in the page for it to work). But it's a good program (and has a booklet function) and I've lived out of it in the past, back when I wasn't processing enough text to justify a paid license. Some people also get use out of google docs, and that is where i started out, but if there was a booklet function, i wasn't finding it, and my aspect ratios were off and I never figured out how to account for that. It also starts to lag as you load it up with text, which may or may not be an issue, depending on the length of the books you're after
Then there are a few specialty programs! Indesign is the Max Fancy option, as far as I can tell, but the subscription model is priced aggressively enough that I'm ignoring it. But if you want fancy layouts and artistic effects, this is the place to go. Or, less expensive but in the same vein, Affinity! And licenses for this periodically go on sale too, i think i picked it up last summer for half off, and then was too frazzled to ever slow down and figure it out. So I've never gotten familiar with those two, but I hear very good things from like, the bookbinders who take time to design their cover pages and chapter headers :V
Finally. If you are a very code-oriented person, i know a few lunatics (affectionate) who do their work in Latex! I do not understand or comprehend how this works, and they intimidate me, a humble microsoft office plebe
And then, three more little things! One, I know VERY little about strengths and weaknesses of different file formats, but I typically feed any ebook files I want to work with into calibre, tell calibre to convert to a format I know how to edit (docx), and take it from there. Two, once you gave pages to turn into a book, they may or may not be imposed. This imposition tool is really lovely, and has the option of doing little books, multiple pages per sheet! And finally, the @renegadepublishing tumblr has a resources document with some good info on options and some basic instructions on how to get started in them. It's geared towards text from ao3, but it's good context for other book purposes too. I hope that helps!! :D

Hi! I just saw your bookbinding post about a fic, I do a little binding as a small hobby and I would love to get more into it. I have a couple fics in particular I would love to bind
My problem is formatting. Any advice on how you format the fic in order to print it accuratly into the sigs? Please and thank you! The spine work is beautiful 😍
Thanks!
So I’ve used Microsoft Word and LibreOffice Writer. Word has a built-in function for this, Writer does not.
With LibreOffice Writer I use Quantum Elephant’s PDF Bookbinder program. It’s available free to download and use. It will take a pdf and create a new one with the pages arranged to print into signatures according to the settings you’ve applied. You’ll also need Java to run it I think.
For Word, there’s the book fold setting. Layout>Margins>Custom Margins. Under Pages, in Multiple pages select Book fold. The Sheets per booklet is the number of pages in your book that will be in one signature, so 20=5 sheets of paper per signature.
Whichever way you use, Word’s built-in book fold or the Bookbinder imposition software, you won’t need to worry about rearranging the pages yourself!
Hope that helps! :D
(Also, if you haven’t already, check out @renegadepublishing! Lots of fantastic work, and a really supportive Discord (18+) too!)

Anonymous Asks Answered by ASH
Q: Hi!! I was just curious as to what the largest fic you’ve ever bound was?
ASH: k words, pages in two volumes (Chevrefoil by Vadianna). The most in a single volume was my first binding, Flyboys by Gefionne, at pages, k words.
Q: Someone told me about Bookbinder by Quantum Elephant, freeware that creates signatures for you from a pdf. Do you know of anyone who has used this? What did they think?
ASH: Imposition software is a whole lively topic of conversation on the Renegade Bindery Discord. A number of people use Quantum Elephant's Bookbinder tool and love it, but there are others. See Bookbinding Resources Master List , or join us on Discord by sending an off-anon ask to @renegadepublishing.
Q: I've been using a piece of cardstock/bristol for the cover's spine portion, two pieces of book board and one piece of cardstock. But one of the videos I watched they didn't include a spine 'board' at all, they just lined the space with regular paper to reinforce it. Is the spine 'board' necessary??
ASH: I don't actually know if the spine "board" is necesssary for round back books, but I always put a little something in there. It helps smooth out the bumps from the linen tapes.
Q: do you have any plans (or ideas for a plan) for what will happen to your collection of bound fics after you die? Because I was just musing about what would happen to mine if I died tomorrow. Maybe they would end up in a secondhand bookstore. Or worse, a landfill. Do you know of any kind of person or place that physically collects and archives fan works?
ASH: You should follow the Archivists Assemble! Dreamwidth account, headed up by MorganDawn! Here's a reference sheet of archiving projects going on, including the known institutions that accept physical media. You should speak with the institutions directly to arrange to bequeath your collection. And, if you are at all interested in discussing archiving in more depth, of either print or electronic media, the Renegade Bindery Discord is the place to do it. (Send an off-anon ask to @renegadepublishing.)
Q: Could i buy 11 by 17 paper and then cut it myself with a paper trimmer into letter sized paper that my printer could print? or would that cause inaccuracies that could interfere with printing?
ASH: You could totally do it! Some considerations, from Renegade members: Only cut a few sheets at a time, and make sure your cutting guides are correctly set and the paper is well anchored.
Q: Have you done colored edges in any way? Thoughts?
ASH: Given that I haven’t got a lying press and plough, I can’t trim my blocks very well. My finished text block edges are not perfectly smooth. Therefore, I haven’t been able to play around with edge coloring, fore-edge painting, or gilding much.
I have used a toothbrush to spray ink speckles, which turned out pretty nice. So far this has been the most successful method of decorating the uneven text block edges.
I also tried applying a permanent ink using a sponge. It bled too deeply into the page edges. It didn’t look professional. My next attempt would be using an airbrush to lightly apply an even coat. But again, it doesn’t look quite right unless you’ve got your edges very clean.

The problem of employing machinery in any industrial venture, whether that’s logistical or mass manufacture, is the problem of fixed capital. Even with bleeding-edge hardware or software, labor or time-saving devices, whatever, the venture is only as profitable as its workers. The machines can and will provide or make possible certain productivity rates yielding a certain quota, per shift, but only that baseline. To increase the surplus, to keep it rising, to make the workers – the human capital – more productive, the capitalist must employ other means. Automation was and wasn’t a bluff. Code, GPS trackers, apps, the scanner strapped to your fingers, the burner phones strapped to your bicep, your forearm, are the new regime now.
Amazon’s closest competitor is Walmart. Where Walmart has excelled with its vertically-integrated brand cult, its insane hierarchies, its cheap managerial-authoritarian ethos, Amazon has implemented a relatively lateral form of organization, producing a diffusion of power under a Cyber-Moloch which is understood and controlled by no one. Minimal human intervention is the rule. Higher rates, for the stowers and the sorters and the pickers and the packers, is the grand notion. Aim high, for the consumer pigs, the program, and the company, and always keep aiming high is the singular order.
You can’t have fun in the fulfillment centers. In the fulfillment centers, the nominal rate of productivity per shift is the primary issue. It’s a matter of contriving layer upon layer of arbitrary, oppressive, and infantilizing systems in order to boost the average picking/packing/sorting rate per worker and justify the fucking imposition of progressive increases in daily output targets. You can’t have any fun, you can’t break anything. Cameras are everywhere. Everything is tracked, including the product – especially you and everyone else – and there is a certain chain of accountability running through the whole division of labor in the facility. Everyone is working as hard as they possibly can: they are tricking themselves into thinking they’ll shape up to the system’s expectations when they’re only pushing the rates and quotas higher. You’re competing against everyone else, you’re racing for the quota. The only thing moving your two legs is the fear. The only thing that’s moving them this fast is this vain hope: maybe you’ll go home early.
The new feature for the system are these minigames on your little burner and we’re trying to beat each other. Are you winning? Shoot for those rates, punch above your purchasing power. Are you getting addicted? I think they’re trying to simulate some kind of dopamine rush. It’s 86 degrees in the facility, the heat index is Did you think they had central? My sweat is sizzling on my skin, miles to go with all your fucking bulk packs of Bounty paper towels, rice cookers, and upholstery. I’m delirious. I forgot to eat today but the burning in my stomach means it doesn’t matter. Four giant overhead fans in the whole place. At the uppermost edge of my eyeline they look like pendulums. This is the third consecutive week the supervisors have pulled us all together to remind us that Amazon is not liable if you suffer heat stroke on the job and die; furthermore, if you have any medical conditions it must be cleared by an Amazon-certified doctor. Furthermore, drink water. We’ll only give it out for free sometimes, but drink water.

There has never been a better time to rob a bank.
Facial recognition software is learning how to beat the mask but

Sometimes the mask wears me and I am an enormous imposition to it.
I have one in every pocket (unless these clothes are clean on today,
in which case we’re probably going to have to turn back).
You are supposed to wash the mask after each use.

Contact tracing app Aarogya Setu is facing renewed criticism for lack of transparency, with many security experts pointing out that what the government released as the app’s ‘back-end code’ was not what it was claimed to be. “What they’ve released right now is some non-functional code snippets. It is client-side code loaded onto the app from a web address and not the server functions or the data-handling part. The back-end code, which handles the data, including the data schemas, has still been kept secret," said Anivar Aravind, an advisory board member at the Software Freedom Law Center (SFLC), who had challenged the mandatory imposition of the app in the Karnataka high court, highlighting its implications on privacy.

Business records with Accounting software, for non GST entities
Small businesses under the circumstances stated in Section 23 of the Central Goods and Service Tax Act, deals with the provisions of persons who are not liable for GST registration. With the advent of GST regime in India, accounting community is investing lot of energy, time and money on GST registered companies. This has created a huge vacuum in sectors like micro and small businesses, proprietary businesses, professionals, and freelancers.
Even though these businesses are not generating enough turnover to get covered under GST or handling GST exempt goods, maintenance of business records are necessary.
Business records
Business records include the sales and service invoices issued to customers, purchase invoices and delivery notes received from suppliers, bills and receipts that were received for various business-related transactions that are recorded in the books of accounts.
Necessity of record maintenance
Even though record maintenance seems to be a non-essential issue from an income tax perspective as it has some alternative methods of calculating business profits for this segment of tax payers, these books of records are important for applying loans, answering any tax related queries, business expansions, business forecasting, etc. Many small businesses are failing because of weak or lack of business accounting records.
With the imposition of stringent rules set by GST, supply of products or services by non-registered companies to GST registered companies has become increasingly difficult. Hence many small businesses are losing opportunities.
Accurate books of accounts help these businesses to forecast financial requirements in both short term and long term.
Reasons for non-maintenance
One of the main reasons for not maintaining books of accounts are the costs associated with it. There may be cases where there are very few transactions of higher value, or there may be cases where many transactions of lesser value. But they are not able to spend thousands of rupees on Accountants or not able to buy and maintain Accounting software or Invoice software applications that takes longer time to learn and maintain records by themselves.
There are many businesses which are going ahead in employing accountants in house or outsource it to some freelance professionals, but they are still not able to get the desired results either because of lack of required knowledge or because of lack of focus and attention. This is also because many qualified professionals are focussing more on GST registered companies, as its payout is more lucrative.
How to resolve the issue?
Many small businesses use either issue hand written invoices or use generic tools like Microsoft Excel or google sheets, to create day to day transactions like invoices and vouchers. There is a higher risk of loosing these documents.
An efficient, easy to work, secured Accounting software application, that can do everything for their business or profession is required for small business segment.
CEAAR is providing a solution to all these problems and more. CEAAR is an Invoicing and Accounting software application. It lets businesses record their own transactions accurately and timely. Automate imposition wizard

The operator will finish the printed job simply by feeding the sheets into the DC without any additional programming setup on the Duplo controller. Customers can quickly and confidently create a custom imposition layout through a setup wizard that provides a step-by-step process with interactive, visual feedback showing the addition of cut, crease and perforation settings – all within the displayed constraints of the finisher. Fiery Impose now has built-in knowledge of the Duplo DC configuration options and constraints. With this advanced finishing integration, there is no longer a need to set up a finishing layout on the Duplo controller and import it into Fiery Impose. This is important in busy print shops that, more than ever before, are processing an increased number of smaller jobs. We believe Fiery Impose gives operators the ability to simplify even the most complex finishing projects.”įiery Impose’s ability to customize finishing layouts delivers 80% time saving for a custom job’s prepress to post-press setup. “This integration allows users to truly create an end-to-end productivity solution. “Duplo USA is excited by this next evolution of its partnership with EFI, through the advanced integration of Duplo finishers and Fiery Impose,” said Rick Salinas, vice president of marketing, Duplo USA. Setting up both the layout imposition and finishing settings in Fiery Impose with direct communication to the Duplo DC finisher saves significant time and reduces the potential for error and rework.

This site contains information that some may consider to be spoilers. But if you're here you probably already knew that. Oh, hma-advogados.pt Lord is an online Role-Playing game by Delta Tao Software. I was a bit amazed that I'm half way done with the hermit. Looks like I have to wait on trying to get Horus to say something new to me for awhile. When we did get back to town, I headed to the Marsh Hermit in the marsh and decided to finish training with him. We were lucky to get back out of the caves without having to depart our way back home. We had to mind the fact that the noids may pop back up behind us as we traveled deeper. After a break, we headed back out to explore the place some more by going deeper into Pitch caves. I was one of the ones that couldn't understand the book. Everybody with enough pathfinding ranks started studying the book while the ones that can't understand the book just got to stare at it. I think Taryn was grinning really wide when we came to the advance pathfinding book. Everybody lined up behind him and we entered deeper into the library. I sunstoned that Drablak found something and everybody came back into the library. Then Drablak spotted something on the wall. People soon started to head out of the place. It looked like the place was just a safe place to hide from the noids. I tried to check to see any of the books would come off the shelves while the others checked the place in their own way. There were broken chairs littering the floor and a number of bookshelves lined up in groups. I thought we would run smack into more noids, but we ended up finding ourselves in the ruins of a library. Someone spotted one and we all headed through into the other side. I got the chance to go down the well making it my first time down there.Īfter we cleared the area of noids, we looked around the place in search of a pathfinding spot. Most of the time I just hang outside the well waiting for the fighters have their fun. Usually not a lot of new things happen during my adventure with Taryn's group to the Pitch Caves. Was this an invasion or just some orga that got lost? I never found another orga around town, but I did hear a drum in the northern part of town. Coldy bought one for his house and I followed him out of the shop to look for more orga. It's location is placed way off in a quiet corner of the southern part of town. The group started to look to see if there were more around the area.ĭuring the search, I found the candle shop I heard talked about around town. The count stopped at 13 when the last one was defeated. Prowl was counting each Orga Berserk she found even Coldy started to count them. The large orga kept on coming for a fight as I watched the fighters swing their weapons at the creatures. I took a moment to scratch my head before I headed over to the southern part of town with a few mammals. Sometime after traveling throught the Pitch Caves, Prowl chimed in on the sunstone about a bunch of Orga Berserks were found in the southern part of town.
